Discover The Skellig Ring

The Ring of Skellig, is an extension of the famous Ring of Kerry, a real hidden gem of a route that will show you the gorgeous wonders and beauty of the land. Explore Valentia Island, Portmagee, St. Finian’s Bay and Ballinskelligs. By Car or by boat (you might even spot some Atlantic Dolphins!!)

For the best surf spots Kerry has to offer, Waterville is the place to go! Skellig’s Water sports Surf School, based on this beautiful sandy bottom beach located between Waterville and Ballinskelligs, caters for surfing, kayaking, paddle boarding and windsurfing.

Horse Riding

Beach Horse Riding is available to book through reception at the Ring of Kerry Riding School, located just outside Waterville village. The Riding School caters for all abilities, from Trekking along quiet country roads, beach rides or lessons in flatwork, jumping and dressage, the school provides options to cater for all levels of experience!

Skelligs Rock

Take a trip to the Unesco World Heritage Site Skelligs Rock, known by Star Wars fans for its appearance in ‘The Force Awakens’. Soak in the breath-taking views of the bay with a boat trip where you’ll spot puffins razorbills and many other unusual sea birds, while botanists can enjoy the abundance of local flora exclusive to the area.
